New Management Standard SJ/T 11885-2022 for Lithium-ion Battery Industry
3. August 2023The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), among other departments and representatives of different industries issued a total of 453 standards in June of 2023.
The newly issued standards contain Standard SJ/T 11885-2022 “Green Supply Chain Management Standard for Lithium-ion Battery Power Industry”, defining the requirements for this area. The official implementation date for SJ/T 11885-2022 is stated as January 1, 2023. Batteries are subject to several Chinese regulations, among them f.e. GB/T 34014-2017. Battery registration.
Demand for batteries has expanded quickly due to the quick development of e-mobility and new energy vehicles. It is important for the power industry to stay up-to-date regarding Chinese regulations in order to keep conformity with the market requirements.
