CCC: Chinese New Year Celebration 2017
13. January 2017The Chinese authorities will shut down for several days during the Chinese New Year. A CCAP press release states, that business will be closed in the period from 27.01.2017 to 05.02.2017.
In China, the New Year Celebration is the most important holiday of the year and is celebrated with a multi-day festival. This year the official start for holiday in January 27.
Many Chinese go on vacation a week before the official start and return in calendar week 6 or 7.
Due to the holiday the certification authorities and the test laboratories are expected to have delays. For CCC applications, the national holiday will result in delays for ongoing certification processes.
