CCC: Changes in CCC Marking Regulations
29. October 2014The Chinese authority CNCA (Certification and Accreditation Administration) announced changes regarding CCC regulations in October of 2014. The changes affect the application and lengths of validity for permissions of printing (also: printing or marking permissions). The printing permission is issued by the CNCA. A printing permission authorizes certificate holders to legally mark their CCC certified parts and products with the official CCC logo.
Permission of printings were previously valid for 12 months and prolongation was needed annually. According to the announcement the permission of printing validity will be extended to reflect the same expiration as the corresponding CCC certificate. January 1, 2015 the changes will be officially implemented.
Permission of printings which have been already issued will remain valid until their stated expiration. Permission holders have the opportunity to file an application for permission of printing that will match their CCC certification expiration date already now.
