CCC: A growing Number of Automotive Suppliers Open Manufacturing Facilities in China
27. December 2016In 2016 many automotive suppliers opened new production facilities in China, and even more are planned for 2017. The growing number of factories is a direct result of the ever growing demand for China based car manufacturers as well as an effort to reduce both cost and lead time for components.
In 2016 over 26 million cars were sold to China, with no end in sight as to the growing demand.
Parts that are subject to CCC certification are required to be CCC certified even if they are produced in China. The same applies to assembly parts that are produced in foreign countries but undergo the final assembly in China. Contrary to what some manufacturer believe, CCC is not a tool to create artificial obstacles for companies to sell to the Chinese market. CCC is a safety certification similar to those required by other countries.
MPR China Certification GmbH / China Certification Cooperation supports car manufacturers and automotive suppliers all around the world, including those who are based in China. With branches in Shanghai and Beijing, we can ensure personal and individual contact to our clients and maintain an excellent relationship with the Chinese authorities.
