468 new GB standards announced for hydraulic cylinders, among other things

January 2024On November 27, 2023, the SAMR issued Announcement No. 13 of 2023, in which it announced the release of 468 recommended national GB standards, including “Test Methods for Hydraulic Cylinders”. Among them, there are more than 40 national GB standards for motor vehicles, both revised and newly formulated standards. Products that fall under one or more GB standards usually require CCC certification to be approved for import and distribution in the Chinese market.
In China, product conformity is based on a large number of standards and norms that apply to both locally manufactured and imported products. The GB standards (Guobiao, Chinese for “national standard”) play a central role here. In addition to these, there are other important standards that must be observed.
